my brothers 99 olds 88 has a bent rear control arm, pep boys wants 370 bux or so to replace it with a used one… does anybody know of any local shops in thea area (around st john fisher) that can help him out a little bit?
theres a few places i used to goto in fairport, its a small town, so i think there were only 2 shops. There is also a good shop on macedon center rd almost towards wayne county, right past the car show place. Sorry i forgot all the names.
If I think of anything I’ll shoot you a message, but I cant really think of anything in the area other than sears/pep boys/etc. (That’s isnt like a British or Euro car specialist, or that random Corvette only dealer out there).
The Goodyear service station off of Monroe Ave across from Pittsford Plaza and Cahoes has done good work on my cars before. I guess it would be worth getting a quote…
Also the Mobile station in the Pittsford village off sutherland street has been reasonable in the past as well…

I would recommend those as well. Been to both personnally. Mostly for small stuff, but they are decent. Prices were average, but still decent.
Did the control arm just bend, or are the mounts damaged?
u mean the rear trailing arm? because those bend all the time and there 2 bolts really simple
yes, thats what i said, but he is in victor and i guss the camber is very bad right now,
he just had it done @ pepboys they charged him 370 bux out the door and did a 4 wheel alignment… he just ate it instead of bringing it home and having me do it
