Great wingsuit video

Wow. Exactly 1 year since the last post. lol

^1:05-1:08…WTF

The margin for error on that is so unbelievably small. I know you probably think that, but you probably don’t even realize how small it really is. My base jumping friends lost a buddy of theirs flying a wingsuit who deployed about 1/4 second too late. It’s insane… I’m sure I’ll someday fly a WS, but I doubt there will be much proximity flying in my future.

Ya is it me or was he flying really close to the tree line.

That video does remind me of playing Pilotwings.

What’s even crazier, is to think of just how easy and thoughtless it is for birds to make those manoeuvres. These guys are professionals, spend all of their time learning and perfecting techniques, so that they can perform an activity that a bird can do flawlessly with ZERO thought. Hell, they even have the ability to put time, money, engineering into creating the perfect wing.

How the hell do you learn to fly? I mean, trial and error probably wouldn’t end well.

Well you start out of a plane not off a base, a little more room for error. lol

Jesus… 1:08 when he was in the gorge below the majority of the trees was insanity. I didn’t think it was physically possible to fly a wingsuit with solid brass balls that large.

Keep in mind that a bird is flying with the ability to increase altitude. A wingsuit is flying with gravity, cant go up, and is going about 120 mph…

I would love to try this… But seems like I would have to take your path first, newman, to learn all about the physics of gravity

That last video had me saying holy shit a few times.

I’m on my phone but search “freefly base”. It’s not wingsuit, but as a skydiver it’s fucking nuts.

how the hell are they keeping themselves in the air while “freebasing”? Its rather amazing to see them get such distance without a suit…

New WS video just released, pretty wild.

holy shit at 45 secs.

gnarly

you should find the video of the one guy who flys into that road at 120mph.

Love it

Has anyone ever hit a bird proximity flying? I’m sure that would make for a fun time…

Not sure if this was posted in here, but I saw it on another forum and was blown away.
