I’ve driven on a stage 3 quite a bit and I think it’s a nice compromise between a strip clutch and a street clutch. I personally know quite a few people that have them, clutches still going strong after many miles.

I really don’t want to go stage 4. Not only is it more expensive (and rated for more power than I will have for a looong time) but my car is my daily driven, 500 mile a week in heavy traffic car…i just think a stage 4 would be overdoing it a bit.

I welded mine to the flywheel doing a 5k dump after only about 6k miles and a year of driving. Alot of guys on LS1tech have been having problems with the Spec’s welding themselves lately, similar to mine. One guy who has a Spec 4 did it 3 times in like 3 months. Other than that I didn’t mind the Spec, but I need a clutch to last more than 6k miles and 30 passes.

I replaced it with a Textralia clutch, and its working very well thus far. Alot of people have had good results with it early on. Time will tell for the long term.
