Looking good!
cool. looks nice
it’s still a buick, it’s not really a muscle car :D:D:D
j/k I like the buick GS
are you doing anything to the motor or suspension or just leaving it stock?
rebuilt front suspension, poly bushings. new rear hotchkis upper and lower control arms, new front and rear heavy duty sway bars, new 15 x8 buick rally wheels with 275/60/15 in the back and 255/60/15 in the front. The engine is already tweaked. Its up to a 462 from a 455, holley 800 double pumper, larger valves and stiffer springs in the heads, “hemi Killer” cam (next step down from the “window rattler”), No more headers instead using honed out stock exhaust manifolds. Its quite possible we might move down from 3 inch thats on there now to a 2 1/2 inch with an H-pipe. the car wasn’t made to fit 3 inch and it bangs off the floor or sits too low and looks stupid. lastly we got the ram air snokel to put back on. Oh yeah putting the A/C back in it to. So yeah i’ll lose some power and gain some weight but according to probably the highest GS expert in the country the combo should see 12.99 or better.
very cool
Why an H-pipe? I’m a big fan of the X-pipe to equalize each side, personally… Just curious why you chose the H
Did you change the body mounts? My chevelle (a-body) same as a Buick gs, I can easily fit a 3" without it hitting the floor pans or hanging low.
h-pipe cause thats what they make, i don’t think anyone has a bolt in system with x-pipe. I could be wrong, i think me dad did tell me the other day he found a place in Cali that has it.
the 3 inch fits but it doen’t fit nice. it smashed the brake lines that run across the axel so we had to relocate them. we might keep the head pipes but just change the tail pipes. On the GS they are supposed to tuck up and just the end are suppoed to turn down. some people like that you can see those big pipes but i’d rather they be tucked. These are problems that most GS owners have with the tourque tech 3 inch.
