More car hacking
The concept behind these attacks is over connections like On star hackers can access the bus that connects all the individual computers…Same thing with exploiting vulnerabilities in the media parsing stuff in the on board radio via bluetooth, wifi, and even malicious cds lol
This gets really interesting as cars are more and more computer controlled with things like drive by wire throttle, automatic braking, even automatic parking systems that give the ECU control over the steering wheel.

Car is just ripped apart because they have been doing a lot of research on the topic they got a big grant to do it.
My understanding is it wasn’t that hard to do this over bluetooth, wifi, onstar, etc
