i can one up this now - i recently put in a warranty claim from getting work done at a non dealer. ROB from Subaru of America called me and I fucking laughed at him and im like uh huh, yea sure.
Then he is like i have your claim paperwork ready and your check shouild be in the mail in a week or two.
I was like oh… ok sweet. I punked myself
