Hey I’m about to do an ls6 style intake conversion on my car and I have the back two block off plates but I’m missing the front coolant pipe deal.
It’s part #12568478 but I can’t seem to find any anywhere.
Anyone got any ideas?

cut the stock one and weld it. it’s holding on mine.
Someone has to have one in stock
Hmm I’ll check my “Resources”:snky:
i thought this was being included in the sale?
+1
Thats what was done on my car.
same w/ 98formulas car, except i made the rear block offs out of the original piece too
Went to J&J speed shop today.
Install took about 2 hours, went smoothely. My car had an intake manifold on it previously sometime before I owned it so my coolant was blocked off and swapped to an ls6 style in the front which made things easier.
However the person I bought the ls6 intake manifold off broke the clip for the MAP sensor which made everything a fucking bitch to do.
Luckily J&J was a big helping hand and helped me get the job done. Worth every penny(I tipped actually). Can’t really feel the difference with the intake but the knowledge gained on how to swap them is invaluable to me.
Really?
I thought it was a pretty noticable difference when mine went from an LS1 to an LS6.
wat?
Alex, I showed you the clip was missing before you bought it. That it was off a FD RX-7 so it was removed for firewall room. And told you about how the clip doesn’t affect anything for the install, or function of how the sensor fits or seals. It’s probally just one of the 100’s of UAW assembly line dummy protection on stock parts. The intake manifold gets pre-assembled with most everything on them, before it goes on the motor. Then they hook the full engine harness on the motor, before they lower the body over whole drivetrian. Most aftermarket intake maniolds like mike, and I said. Don’t have that clip. Like the FAST intakes, and theres tons of them out in the world doing fine. I’ve never had a problem from it?
The lack of the clip made it such a dick to install dude. I’m sorry, I didn’t post your name because I didn’t even want to deal with the drama. FAST intakes have a lot more space where the MAP sensor plugs into, so instead I had to epoxy the MAP sensor to the ls6 intake so that it got a proper seal. I’m not pissed at you, and I think your a fine person to business with, people make mistakes. But that little clip cost me a lot of headache.
That clip wasn’t taken off to make room for shit. Whoever took it off broke it off because its a rigid piece of plastic.

oh yeah it did
that Buddy dude had a ls6 intake on it for a few months that he took off before he sold it, it also had a girdle on the rear and a lid IIRC
:picard: please tell me how removing the little clip gained a TON of firewall clearance? The MAP sensor is higher than the clip. The clip keeps the MAP sensor on the intake manifold.
