Help me find my next car

Ok, so i just posted this in another thread, and i figured i’d give it its own post, so i can keep track of it better.

I’m looking to buy a S2000. I want it Black w/ Red interior, or White w/ Red interior. I have been looking, but i know a lot of you are way better with finding things/deals/cars/stuff online than i am, so i’m asking for your assistance.

Preferably 00’ - 02’
Less than 70k miles, a little more wouldnt be to bad… i’ll do a full tune-up anyways
Preferably all factory options
Within 500 miles
Looking to spend… obviously as little as possible, and as much as 16K for the right car.
Would prefer that only minor mod’s have been done (I/H/E, clutch, lowered)

If you happen to see something you think i might like, i’ll happily take a look, been eyeing them for a while and just recently decided if i find the right one i’m gonna bite. Oh and whomever finds my baby for me, can be sure that we will be cruising around w/ the top down whenever you want.

max 16k, and you post a 03’ for 21k… and its from a dealer so i get a nice 2k tax on top of it, no thanks haha

i like the 2nd one, the 1st one i found… i dont like that they have a satelite angle interior shot, and no engine/other interior shots. Seems really sketchy, and when i called the lady she said it needed the timing chain to be adjusted. But either way the 2nd one might work, i would sell the hood and get a stock one, and re-paint the trunk/gas cap white. Plus those rims would be gone and immediately replaced by stock 05’ s2k 17"s

Did she tell you what the deal was with the timing? Was it running on a special octane gas?

no she just said it needed the timing chain adjusted soon, which i dont know much about. No matter what car i get, as long as it’s a honda i’m having my uncle go completely through it and replace everything that might be needed anyways, so i’m not that worried, but it seemed sketchy. The 2nd one you posted i’m def calling on tomorrow. Price range is good, color is prefect, milage is close enough, carbon parts would sell and stock parts would be replaced… could work. but keep your eyes peeled still.

haha if my parents werent the ones making me sell for 13500 i would sell for 8k cuz i mean the car has no meaning to me anymore. its just sitting in my driveway and i dont wanna look at it anymore hahah.

good choice swift, before i bought my GTI i was looking at black on red leather, or a white with black leather, wanted a hardtop but couldnt find one with a hardtop, and didnt want to deal with buying one… definently nice cars

With all those limitations you might be hard pressed to find one. When I look for my cars I have to look throughout the US. If you expand your search a bit you may come up with something.

Check ebaymotors, autotrader, cars.com I can put my ear out there as well as I’m intouch with several dealers etc.

thanks for the help… gonna call on a few after the holiday weekend. Might take a trip to Delaware if that chicks S2000 is still for sale, i like the price/mods.

My buddy has that exact car (black/red) here locally. How serious are you about buying?

well very serious for the right price… but like i said i’d like it almost stock, its ok if its lowered, i can’t afford more than a 300/mo payment, so i’d like it to be ap1, 00-02, red int, around 14k? but i can work somethin out, can u get me the specifics?

swifty try to avoid the 00’ as it has a plastic rear window instead of a glass one.
