I need a 1/2, 1/2 drive, 12 point deep socket.
I also need a tap for a 17mm bolt.
I need them today.
Could I borrow them from someone, I will leave a deposit.
I called Princess Auto, Part Source, Sears, Canadian tire, Bumper to Bumper, Greggs, House of Tools, none of them have either.

17mm by what thread pitch for the tap???
I am pretty sure i have a socket too. Might be 3/8 but just buy an adapter for it
I have the adapter, if you have the socket!
I’m not sure of the thread pitch, how do I tell or measure? Its for a tranny bolt.

And no go on the socket, my deeps are 6 point only

you made the mistake of calling them and thats the problem, i know canadian tire doesn’t do 12 point but napa and princess auto and stuff do…you have to grab it yourself and just pay for it
