because some people don’t understand that you will never have a car that doesn’t look like anyone elses. there will always be someone else with similar ideas to yours. as proven with our cars, both grey w black roofs, both have pink chrome jlines. the similarites are there, but it just happened, nobody copied anyone.

well, i am the owner of that mr2, i happen to lurk here but decided to register and post so you can realize that i didn’t copy you. and i never said i did. i take it your on jspek also.
what i did say was that i found out about your car about a month before i recieved my wheels. now you also have jlines, so you should know it takes 3 months to have them made, meaning i didn’t know about your car when i ordered my wheels. i found out about the wheels at hin boston 06, fell in love with them and knew that i had to have that color for my next wheels then. that was in april 06.
now for the color of the car. i have had my car painted that color for 2.5 years. its off the bmw m3. so i copied bmw not you.
next thing is the tow hook. mine isn’t pink. it is purple. same with my brake calipers. yes it is a subaru tow hook. nobody makes tow hooks for mr2s or any toyota so i ordered some up and made them work.
and the graphics are coming off because they are too pink and make my wheels look too purple and are being redone in purpe chrome graphics.
so in end, i didnt copy your car, they ended up looking similar deffinitly, but that is going to happen with such a popular activity such as car modifiying.
and i have pics to prove all of this. including the pic i took of the wheel at the falken booth at hin boston 06. so if u still think i copied you…well u just want to think that.
yup. pretty much any color you want. blue, teal, pink, green chrome. seen them all. although its not true chrome, pretty sure its anodized.

i gotta chime in here and say i know for a fact elliot (slwrthnu) would never copy anyone. Like elliot said, his car was painted the m3 gray color about 3 years ago at one of our friends shop that hooks us up, i knew he was gettin the pink jlines a long time ago back when he still had gold volk gt-c’s . As for the pink stickers, i own a graphics shop and made all of them for him, as soon as i get some more time and figure out what went wrong with my plotter elliot will be getting a more purpleish chrome sticker set. I think amber ( i think thats her name, sorry if its not) should come up and party at slwrthnu’s house and have a photoshoot.
