Ah, that’s a what a “codec” is…
hahaha… it makes videos go!
I’m with ya. I used to own a 95 Jetta 2.0 and it was a wonderful car, suprisingly. Garret chip, TT268 cam, TT 2.25" cat back, close ratio gearbox, I made my own 8v GLI when the factory didn’t. It was a very fun car and suprisingly able in the autoX scene…
It was much larger on the inside than the new cars. More physical space. I miss that sometimes when loading skiis, fly rods, etc.
I have a '97 Jetta GT, that I inherited from my wife, she moved on to an '03 1.8T Jetta. It’s been a great car, other than liking to eat front wheel bearings, and the power locks not working right anymore. I put a Weitec 40/40 kit on it to lower it slightly, and it looks pretty good. Not as low as I would have liked, but more practical around these parts. This is the only pic (sort of) I have of it, hiding behind the Jeep I sold 2 months ago. I had major $$$ into that thing, lockers front and rear, winch, 5.5" lift, 35’s, you name it :D. Was alot of fun, but it wasn’t being used over the last few years. Used some of that money to buy my '87 Buick turbo, so it’s onto something new and different
Here’s 1/3 of the Jetta
