If you could go back

Since I’m searching for cars and I’m having a hard time finding a car that fits me perfectly I was thinking to myself that if I could go back in time to 2003 I’d go to a Ford dealer and get an '03 Cobra Convertible from them and call it a day. What kind of car would you get if you could go back?

It has to be limited to a time that you were actually alive though!!!

I would prolly go back and buy my friends 300zx TT when I had the chance or 1993 Escort GT

the 71 LS7 chevelle with a 4speed that I found

I see BuickGN reading this thread, so I’m willing to bet he wants a GN.

Me, not a big fan of older cars because technology advances so much in so short of a time. Maybe go back and pick up a dozen or so CRX’s and then sell them on Ebay for a big profit because 0 mile CRX’s would be worth a lot to the ricer crowd.

id go back to my junior year in highschool, when i was 17 ( 1997 ). and instead of getting a stupid nissan altima, i would have gotten a few year old EG hatch. Or gotten a late 80s fox, or a 1995 GSR. or something with a SBC in it.

I would have bought a truck before the camaro

oh and instead of mine, a 95 6spd T-tops black on black

socal heat.

I would have bought an ITR

Well lets see, an 83 supra fully custom chop-top not once but twice I had a chance to buy it for arnd $3k, an 85 supra with a 1jz in it for $4k, another 85 with a 7mgte for 2500 and a 93 mr2 turbo for arnd $3k.
Im sure theres more I regret but I choose not to remember.

77 impala my friend wanted to sell me for $500. I should have jumped all over it.

if i could go back in time, i’d fucking slap myself for even thinking about getting in to cars.

Can’t believe noone said it. 1995 rx-7… 1988 m3 and a 99 m3.

and not drive any of them.

Yellow Fox-Body Mustang GT Convertable of the early 90s variety ever since I was a really young one.

A lot of people seem to miss the concept of this thread.

miles don’t matter, its the rust

you ever find a rust-free (and i mean really rust free) crx you can get a pretty penny on honda-tech

66impala.

No i did not.

I would get those cars and never drive them.

and If I drive them I would take care of them and put minimal miles on them

65-68 Mustang fastback…either model would be fine by me. I bought my '93 fox Mustang in '97 as a theft recovery; basically it was a rolling chassis. Back then a vintage Stang could have picked up for much cheaper than what they go for now…I think that would have been more fun to build up, and in the end they just plain look BA.

dodge omni glh…that is all. I’ve always wanted one and always will. if not that then the shelby lancer as that is by far my favorite body style of a turbododge.

1991 BMW 850i 6spd with like $15,000 in mods and the car was selling used for like 19,000 I think… such a nice car to drive for a daily / cruise.
