in need of custom race mirrors

i googled but cannot find anyone or anywhere that will custom make a side view race mirror. does anyone know of a company that can guide me or make them. its for my 87 thunderbird and trust me noone makes them for this car thats why i have to go the custom route

It is a mirror that is able to fold in. I would assume for trailoring the car.

The only thing I’d be concerned with is that they are made of ABS plastic, which I’m not sure will take on paint too well. If this is a Function > Form type application then I don’t see a problem with that at all. Convenience of having a fold in mirror would be nice

I can only speculate as to what you mean by “race mirrors”, but I like the micromirrors people put on lotus.

yes exactly i like the m3 style but they are not made for my car so im assuming ill have to customize sumthing. ive looked everywhere for a company that would make a one off set but no luck. thanks for the help though

i have a set from a mk2 gti you can try out to see if they would fit. they are just sitting in my garage

with some good fiber glass and resin work you can make those or any mirrors work nicely

let me know if your thinking that route I love using that stuff its a fun hobby making something outta nothing
