i was in the same situation for my SS Cobalt. i was loookin for cheap steelies etc. then i figured hell i’ll just get a wheel tire package w/ steelies, then i figured i didnt want my car to look like shit for 4 months with steelies, so i broke down and got an alloy rim package w/ studless snow tires for like 650…not too bad if you ask me. plus the tires come mounted.
how much did you end up paying??

like 650 for the rims and tires plus shipping. but the rims are prety nice and the tires are Dunlop graspic ds2

I think this guy is from rhode island, but there is at least one set on vwvortex that will work. Search there a bit and I’m sure you will find them. Only problem is that they are in demand now with winter approaching, so some of the prices are a little higher.
