Well Nikfuk, “sealed” when used to describe a fireplace, typically means that combustion air is drawn from outside the house. In my case it is not. The front of my fireplace is a pair of sliding glass doors, preventing me from punting a dog into them. Beneath the glass doors is a metal vent that allows combustion air to enter the fireplace from the house.
