I am actually going to have it framed and give it to my husband along w/ a gold record that I picked up that was given to Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, that is framed w/ a signed album cove as well. We’ve been collecting for a little while, for xmas I got him a guitar that was signed by Eric Clapton (not played, just signed)…
I paid $100 for it. The cover is in ALMOST mint condition, you can tell where they took the price tag off it, and there is a tiny spot at the bottom of the cover that is not black. The vinyl looks pristine, the lable has a couple of cracks in it (maybe 1/8"). He’s gonna be stoked.
I got a bunch of old vinyl. Only other “colored” vinyl that I have is the Prince "Purple Rain 45 in purple vinyl. Other ones that I have that are kinda neat are: the Blues Brothers Sountrack, the original Shaft double album, and the original Star Wars Soundtrack double album. I also inherited all my grandfathers big band/swing albums, and my Dad’s 45’s from the 50’s (Splish Splash, Charlie Brown etc) He had about 100 of them.
rap music isn’t ‘practical’ … nor is any music for that fact… actually all sounds aren’t ‘practical’… might as well live in a state of silence… you guys should lead by example.
