I am actually going to have it framed and give it to my husband along w/ a gold record that I picked up that was given to Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, that is framed w/ a signed album cove as well. We’ve been collecting for a little while, for xmas I got him a guitar that was signed by Eric Clapton (not played, just signed)…

pretty pimp!

i have some old school (sorry if you don’t consider those guys old! haha) stuff laying around… that’s a nice addition to a collection.

i heart old vinyls

how much???
i got an original

I paid $100 for it. The cover is in ALMOST mint condition, you can tell where they took the price tag off it, and there is a tiny spot at the bottom of the cover that is not black. The vinyl looks pristine, the lable has a couple of cracks in it (maybe 1/8"). He’s gonna be stoked.

I got a bunch of old vinyl. Only other “colored” vinyl that I have is the Prince "Purple Rain 45 in purple vinyl. Other ones that I have that are kinda neat are: the Blues Brothers Sountrack, the original Shaft double album, and the original Star Wars Soundtrack double album. I also inherited all my grandfathers big band/swing albums, and my Dad’s 45’s from the 50’s (Splish Splash, Charlie Brown etc) He had about 100 of them.

What’s a vinyl?

just kidding, I’m not that young. I remember listening to my parents Fleetwood Mac records.

i got “the chronic” on vinyl. records are not practical anymore but still cool none the less.

No not practicle at all, don’t really plan on doing anything w/ this but getting it framed nicely for display for hubby.

that is freakin awesome
thats one hellova gift

congrats!!

Congrats on the find.

Too bad Pink Floyd was left in my teenage years

I’ve never listened to anything on vinyl. Dont plan to either. Technology > *

you guys are fucking retarded…

rap music isn’t ‘practical’ … nor is any music for that fact… actually all sounds aren’t ‘practical’… might as well live in a state of silence… you guys should lead by example.

I have the wall on DVD, I have yet to watch it

no LSD, no watch.

yeah that about sums it up.

 nice find have a bunch of old vinyl too the doors original vinyl. bunch of others too.

i got a decent amount of vinyl @ my place…new & old stuff.

mostly singles/12" stuff more then full albums.

full albums suck when your mixing

I ruined my mom’s Cinder Lauper album by teaching myself to scratch at age 10 or so. She was pissed. Girls just wanna have fun!
