:tup:stock dsm
:word:
they’re on my shopping list this year too…
focus on keeping the car running
ooo, drunken snap
lol
i likie
ssqv played a role in toasting my 1800 dollar turbo… be careful.
all you people complaining about problems with compressor surge from bov’s, are you sure its not your WASTEGATE thats the problem? also as somoene mentioned the sound being compressor surge, the greddy type s is “tuned” to sound a certain way which people mistake for being surge
you should sell me your stock bov, because its my b-day
seriously, i want it
pm me if you were going to get rid of it
You should come and talk to me about that BOV. I have modified mine to actually work better than the original design. The BOV itself, after I played with it and modified it, works better than it did previously.
Want (to buy) my SSQV?
i do, pm me a price. The blaz air needs some modz
Ummmmm, aaaaaahhhhhhh, a BOV on an N/A blazer?
:confusedasfuck:
he has a boosted blazer
Ummm, that’s a new one one me…
yeah that shits on the dl man
nope, looking for a metal DSM one
The HKS is metal, and it’s on a DSM, so what the fak is the problem?
too big and ugly
The type s is tunable yes…but most people don’t set it right, causing compressor surge.
The hks just plain sucks I have seen numerous cars with destroyed turbos from the ssqv.
Could you please explain indepth how a wastegate will cause the compressor surge that we are talking about with these bovs. I know you can get compressor surge with a turbo that is spooling too fast for the rest of the engine, in which case you could set up the boost controller/wastegate to open relieving the built up pressure on the exhaust side. But that is not what we are discussing here.
Mine did before, but not anymore!! :snky:
ZerODazE, it might be big and ugly, but remember, it’s the motion of the ocean…
lol
