Keystone

Hey how many of you guys go to keystone??..i am gonna go down this summer and i was wondering what it was like

a good amount of people go to PRP, formaly Keystone. I know there are some people planning to head out opening day which is April 8th. If they decide to do Import nights this year, the majority of the quick 8 cars are pittspeed member driven.

i just got my car and i need to learn how to race shift and i think that i can do it

If you don’t have enough money saved up for a new clutch, don’t do it.

i wanna finish my exhaust, longtube header, and throw a PT cruiser clutch in, then i’ll go up

whitey they are having 3 sport compact nights this year. July August and September

Speed shifting a dsm (evo = dsm) is bad news. They use 90w gear lube as trans. fluid and all you will do is kill that car. Learn to shift “quick” but dont shove it into gear or you will be up into a lot of rebuild money. Just learn how fast the trans. will let you gently push it into gear and just try faster each time. Eventually you will get it. I used to own one of these things and I know the evo is better but its all the same when it came to engineering, they take as many shortcuts to cut cost as possible and with hard racing it eventually shows.

that is total bullshit i got 15k on my evo and raced it all last summer held up just fine, if ur stock it should hold it long as ur not slippin the shit out of it then its gonna give up fast its all in the way u launch i found that 5800-6k and engage quick

wen u launch ur evo does it spin on u?..or did it ever do that?

this isnt meant to be cocky but ill run you up there since we should be in the same area.

when i saw some evos run last year, they dident really spin at the track, the fastest one i seen what a white one went 12.40, there was an mr that was going like 13.40, i beieve… at your average testntune there is at least 5 people from pittspeed, this year there will prob be like 15 or so…at least

Ill be at the tuesday test’n tune nights when they start up.

No, that’s not bullshit. If you don’t know how to launch the car correctly, you can kill the stock clutch in a day at the track. I watched my one friend do it. I always told myself when I get one, it won’t go to the track until I have the money saved up, I think that’s just smart.

if ur a deuche its easy to kill the less ur on that clutch the better and it will hold up but i know i might get a couple passes this year but that will probably do it for the stocker. but if ur making near stock power it can hold it. oh and yes i usually get the front tires churping out the hole at the track

i think t&t is wendsday now

yeah wed and friday so I will be there for some fridays

sure

i probably go up a few times. really could care less how fast my times are, its just a hell of lot of fun and beats staying at home and doing nothing

yeah i remember that, it wasnt pretty

i MIGHT run my car once, just to see if i can get what the magazines say…or even close
