Last supply flight to Antarctica - and what's important?

… apparently, the scientists in Antarctica need to keep occupied:

One of the last shipments to a U.S. research base in Antarctica before the onset of winter darkness was a year’s supply of condoms, a New Zealand newspaper reported Monday.

Bill Henriksen, the manager of the McMurdo base station, said nearly 16,500 condoms were delivered last month and would be made available, free of charge, to staff throughout the year to avoid the potential embarrassment of having to buy them.

16,500 condoms how many people are there … and then how many guys…
it works out to 45 condoms a day … and i would say 50% of they guys would not even use them :gotme:

Gotta keep warm somehow.

lol

For some reason every year we start with about 100 people and finish the year off with 150. I think we’ll get some air mailed condoms for next year.

all the penguins run

How many people live in Antarctica?
There are 42 other year-round research stations on Antarctica. All told, about 4,000 people live on Antarctica in summer, 1,000 in winter.

this is what I came here to post.

:hay:

female or male?

Chris Hansen says " I like Rape"

psh, condoms are weaksauce. if i was in antarctica i’d do it outside and use the “frozen rope to the face” method.

So, they were embarrassed to go buy them and they end up on national news.

lol.

You cant even bust in her face, becuase it will turn to hail instantly and blow her fucking eye out.

“Since everybody knows everyone, it becomes a little bit uncomfortable,” Henriksen told the Southland Times newspaper.

About 125 scientists and staff are stationed at McMurdo base, the largest community in Antarctica, during the winter months when there is constant darkness.

The first sunrise will occur on Aug. 20 and McMurdo’s population will start to increase again in September when supply flights resume, peaking at more than 1,000 during the summer period.
