LOL v.The Bailout

I just searched auto trader for big 3 - manual - awd. Over 3 million listings came up with 0 results.:gotme: How many models do they offer, 10000?

how many people really want to buy a manual awd car? that is a niche market to say the least.

they did it today

SUV, truck or car?

What? Audi has had increased sales unlike the big 3. Maybe they could learn from them.

car. no like truck/suv.

The average driver does not want a manual transmission. The last figure I can find was 6% of U.S. sales were manuals.

Well no wonder it was only 6%, that is all they made.

You really think the average american wants to do anything for themselves that they can have a machine/computer for them? shame on you. Even among performance enthusiasts, which are the vast minority, there are still some of us that will never own a manual transmission, like myself. Particularly now that performance benefits are nil to actually negative.

^Like the GTR? cough:launchcontrol:cough

manual is more fun

How many times are you going to ask this same question?

I know you added a manual qualifier this time.

Off the bat without any additional research Saab 9-3 Aero and 2.0T 6 speed XWD

^I will keep checking because I want to buy American. It is assumed I would be sacrificing style, I am certainly not comprimising awd/manual.

Yeah currently the CTS-4 DI AWD only comes in a 6-speed auto. Hopefully that changes once the CTC is released in the spring.

Okay, although this:

http://answers.edmunds.com/question-What-2008-AWD-cars-wagons-hatchbacks-cross-overs-manual-transmissions-495.aspx

says the CTS AWD will have a stick, this:

http://prod3.gmautobuilder.com/BuildYourOwn/Cadillac.byo?year=2009

says you can’t.

So boo?

I think its either or though. Makes sense though. RWD = performance enthusiasts. AWD = middle aged broads who dont want to slip in the snow.

Last year the AWD was only for the smaller V6. I think this year they added the larger engine and my hope is they add manual for next year when the CTC rolls out.

Chrysler shuts down all production. Close of business Friday will be the start of a monthlong closure of 30 U.S. plants. Company cites ‘continued lack of consumer credit.’

yeah… i would buy american.

but i cant afford an srt-10 or a c6 z06

guess ill stick to my GTI

and continue to laugh at SUV’s while my little computer screen says im getting well over 30 mpg
