Oh he can find one, its just not going to be in very good shape. My friend has a very nice 78’ Malibu with a 355 (nothing special done engine wise, runs high 8 on motor, 7.9 on 100 shot) completely rot free and i believe it paid somewhere around $5,000 for it. If you want a nice platform from which to build something, (as is his plan) you dont want a rot box. This is why i say keep saving.

my friend sold his project 86 monte ss for 2000 and it realy needed some work. keep saving man. look for something with no rot.
