Over the winter I picked up a spare Mazdaspeed Miata turbocharger and manifold with the idea that I’d do some PNP work at my leisure and swap them onto my car at some point in the future.
Now doing some spring cleaning, freeing up brain and shelf space, and this is one of the projects that’s got to go because I don’t expect to get to it any time soon.
Turbo seems to be in great shape, spins freely by hand, no shaft play that I can see/feel.
Manifold will bolt on to any 1.8l Miata.
These setups are generally good for up to 200-225ish at the wheels (depending on tune, dyno, and supporting mods) which is plenty of fun in a Miata.
