I am looking for a few 2GB sticks or even 1GB sticks so that I can see if this computer will work. Currently there is no memory in it so I can not even test the stupid thing. Have anything sitting around collecting dust?
i have 2 one gig stick of laptop pc2-5300. works fine. laptop took a crap so i pulled the Ram. throw me some gas $$ and ill bring to you or pick up in south buffalo for free
Laptop memory wont work 
it needs to be desktop memory. I believe that what you have is very small and will not fit in the slot on my desktop.
