I just dumped my FNM after hours for 1.08. I’m going to cut down my volatility in the financial sector so that i’m fully hedged. After all, I did buy in at 45 cents. Fuck this noise.

Picked up 1000 shares at 1.30. Waiting for it to recover some day but I went into it knowing I was going to hold onto it for at least 5-10 years.

I would love a fat bonus check to dump in the market right now. They way some of these companies are performing the pricing is insane. Trying to avoid the temptation to grab the falling knife and wait for it to starting tipping back up. If you aren’t on the first day or two of the upswing I’m sure it will recover faster than a goats ass. I bet there will be a pile of false starts though.
I have been buying some and plan to buy even more in the next few weeks with money I have saved and do not plan to need or consider wanting for 3-5 years. So we will see how the long term aspect works out. I will say though I will keep some free cash for day short term stuff as I see it. But man does it hurt right now. I wont even let myself look at my IRA and mutual fund account right now:(
Monday is going to be wild. Futures are WAY up and I predict people with shorts are probably going to cover and I promise we still have plenty of shorts out there. I almost think the bast play for anyone day trading tomorrow will be to throw shorts in soon after opening and cover once people start trying to take earnings throughout the day. Which they friggin will because a ton of people out there are just looking for a decent exit I am sure. God I wish I didnt work a job that kept me away from a comp during trading hours. Luckily I have tomorrow off!

Word there will be some HUGE wavelengths today. Lots of opportunity to get in… but I doubt we’re closing up that much. Something negligible (<100 pts), if not down a bit.
The markets ahead of us are ahving a decent run but nothing hugerific.
