You’re right. Let me rephrase, since I was in a bad mood when I posted.
A watch can’t be in style, or timeless to someone who doesn’t enjoy the design. It never can be. If something isn’t appealing to you it doesn’t matter what designs seem to transcend the ebb and flow of fashion. They will always be unappealing. So no matter how “classic” or “timeless” this design may be it will still continue to be unappealing to me. A lot of people like it, I disagree with a lot of people when it comes to watches. If you like it that’s great, pick it up, wear it, I’m sure you’ll like it for the rest of your life.
A Rolex Submariner will never go out of style.
Of course thing is timeless… There’s no numbers in it!
