long story short, all of my friends got together and bought me this -
then, a few weeks ago, brian and i went to the junkyard and got all of this -

so after that, sadly the car is going to sit because i have a bigger priority. i would never get the car together for this season, so im going to focus all of my time and money on my other wedding gift, this one from my uncle pete -
its a 1970 Bultaco Matador. my grandpa bought it for my dad in 1970, my dad rode it for a while, then gave it to his younger brother who rode it for a bit, and its been sitting for the last 25 years in his basement. he put it back together for me, not only is this bike super rad, but it has a ton of sentimental value
haenszel and i went out there, changed the plug, kicked it, and it runs good. the main jet is clogged, as it bogs when you give it anything more than 1/4 throttle. the carb and all of the new parts are currently in focus in progress’s hands, he should have it back to me by this weekend.
after that, tires and suspension, thats really all it needs. i plan on keeping it as original as possible.
