Trip was a great time. Went down, hung with Kustom Play (Steve, for all the OG’s around), the local MR2OC Phoenix/Glendale group, and the guys at Scottsdale Lotus, as well as some other Lotus friends. Weather was 90 degrees everyday, but not humid. All in all, a nice city, but nowhere I could ever live year round. At least they got bubble tea though. Anyways, here’s some shots.
Yeah, there were some serious cars there. But as per usual, I was totally fixated on the Lotus cars, especially the Exige Cup cars, haha. I actually walked by a McLaren SLR and that DTM CLK Mercedes without even noticing them. Then on a later pass, I was casually like, “Oh, an SLR.”
Adam, I had to post some photos to compete with what you’re always putting up, haha.
Nice. I used to know a few folks who worked there. I believe they moved since then though. I tried to stop by when I was interviewing at the Lambo dealer on Raintree Blvd, I don’t remember finding it.
Thanks all. I flew down there. It was merely just a vacation visit to see Steve, but I figured I’d make the most of it by getting the Lotus/MR2 guys involved. I’m sure I’ll make my way out there again.
It’s just too much hot, all the time. Honestly, winter alone aside, I couldn’t think of a better place to be than Buffalo, all year round. I like summer, winter, and fall here very much. However, I really do hate winter. SF, Ca. has amazing weather, and while it too is constantly in the 60-70 range most of the year, I’d take that over 90-100 every day. That’s just me…
But Phx. is super cool, no doubt, and it looked like it’s growing FAST.
