They’re going to test the claim that the 928 could drive faster in reverse, lol. Not quite “plane on a treadmill” but cool because they’ve flipped the body of the car around to do it.
At 75 mph, the original 1978 928 was losing 28 hp to drag, a noticeable deficit given its 219-hp engine.
This is awesome. although I’m dreading what they are going to miss this time. their tests aren’t always very scientific. For instance they will replace the weight with weights, but what about weight distribution?
Edit: it looks like it’s just what i said… they didn’t take into account weight distribution, and there is more wheel spin when the car is traveling backwards. I also can’t help but thinking there was something else they messed up changing the rolling resistance of the car.

i clearly saw them put weights in the car, do you think they just picked arbitrary amounts of weight and put them where ever?
