NEED HELP! HVAC/ELECTRICIANS LOOK!!!

I tried replacing the old thermostat in my condo… so i took the old one off…and didnt read the directions. I forgot to mark/label all the wires before disconnecting the old unit. IM AN IDIOT!!

So now I have 5 wires and I have no idea which one does what

Red
Blue
Yellow
Black
Green

As u can see in the pic below there is a spot for

Y = Cooler Compressor
RH = Heater Power
RC = Cooling Power
W = Heater Control Line
G = Fan

Can anyone HELP?? I dont want to call a repair man just yet… i will paypal anyone $$ who can help me out… thanks

what do you need help with?

He wants to know what contacts the wires are supposed to go to, live and learn.

I find it hard to believe you can’t find this on the internets.

Im on the hold right now with the help line… so well see what kind of help they can provide

red=constant …blue=usually dead…yellow=AC…black=common…gren=fan…

haha they have stickers for that that say to mark everything haha. good luck to you my friend

you need a multimeter, at the very least.

its a long shot but pualysplitx knows hvac stuff, try pming him.
