IRS doesn’t seem like it would be lost considering the new marro is on the GTO platform
Oh really? Thats great. I put the Camaro and Mustang on the same plane for obvious reasons and every Mustang concept has had IRS but as we all know, the current GT and GT500 are live rear axle. Great for racing, but ancient by sports car standards.

They havent, you are right. But they also ‘werent working on a camaro concept’ even though we knew it would be at the auto show for months. The IRS is, for better and worse, going to be in production. The concept was spec’d with it, all of the sources have been saying it.
Look at it this way, even if you didnt believe the sources (and scott settlemire being one of them), what parts bin rear end would they use? The have an IRS in the vette, gto, xlr and cts-v, or I think they remember how to make a 10 bolt. Putting it like that, I almost want IRS haha. Otherwise Im not happy about it at all, but its all about sacrifices
Either way, I really hope to be able to get one when they come out.
