I don’t think it’s quite that easy or cheap as you imply. But if fast is what you are after, it’s a lot easier and cheaper with a domestic. That’s one of the reasons we like 'em more than imports!

With the motor and transmission i’ve got priced it comes out to $7500.Thats if I went with a bigblock.A well built SBC would run a bit less.
As for my G-body shell with 12bolt,it didnt run me that much.

Good point about mofo’s having to demand some $$$ for races to filter out people. I’ve never been in the position of everybody with half a car wanting a piece and wanting to talk shit. Besides with a build/sprayed big block, that $200 would probably just pay for the 1/4-mile worth of gas at WOT.
