The stock plastic ones suck. I had the dealer replace the two front ones about 3 times in the year I had my '04. Pretty much everytime you remove the mats to clean them, the plastic tips break on them. If you don’t use them, the mats move all over the place. The metal ones did not exist when I had it, either.
