MB’s new automatic ‘sportshift’ tranny is by latest reports to be the best auto effort thus far. Mostly derived from the new manual mode found in the new E63 which I can tell you from experience is just wonderful, this one promises to be quite a bit of fun. Styling is fantastic… handling diametrically opposed to previous AMG pigs ( of which I’ve owned 3) and a 0-60 time of 3.9 add up to a delicious prospect… at least for a two year window … given how the current teutonic HP wars wear on…fairly priced at 65k base…close to 73 optioned
