THE FACTS:

* Header wraps are designed to keep the heat in the header to improve scavenging of the cylinders. Keeping the heat in the header allows the exhaust speed to remain high. (the right idea)

i dont think he needs to worry about water being that high in the engine bay. and its stainless steel metal. lets base all out thoughts on someones opinion on the internet. its the internet so everything must be true

i never said to not coat it. i just said the white is ugly and id use a different coat and i would also wrap it where it goes into the cabin

If you read the rest of the article, the author says:

“Heat wraps are great, just do not use them ON the header. Use them on a device or component on your vehicle that you are trying to protect from header heat.”

Its a fucking layer of insulation. It doesn’t care where the heat is coming from, its just there to decrease the amount of heat transferred.
