I’m impressed with the center swirl of that poop. The anus from which animal that lay such a dynasty was truly crafted by god’s angels themselves…hehehe

They look like axle nut pins…

Cotter Pins for the uni-lug that holds the wheels on. God forbid that ONE nut holding your wheel were to come loose!! :ahh

Nice APC ricer wings on a few of those

Never seen those before. Never saw one on a race car. The Carrera GT i was checkin out didnt have those.

Im assuming b/c its a street car and the rims/tires arent taken off every 30 mins and checked lol. Idk for sure though…

That’s because the CGT centerlock uses a spring loaded detent to keep the nut from backing off in the event that it loosens. It’s actually shown right in the picture you posted.

Average centerlock nut torque is 440ftlbs, it’s near impossible for them to come loose as they’re both left/right hand threads so brake torque keeps them tight. Pins were derrived from GTP where pits crews didn’t always hit the proper torque mark apon the car leaving the pits. New centerlock setups use the detents like on the CGT, which are depressed by the socket on the end of the gun thus facilitating removal. No more pins.
