it wasn’t his fault he sucked, the wind off of the “lake” was too much.
the o-line sucked something fierce last week, hopefully they can turn it around this week. Ben saved a bunch of plays be not getting sacked and moving around a lot, I thought he had a good game last week given the shitty play by the line.
+1, not sure why everyone was trying to blame it on Ben. If it had been last season, he probably would have thrown like 4 or 5 picks in that game, but because of how much he improved over the offseason, he either knew to just go down or throw it away. This is one of the reasons we had so many 3rd and very long’s, but still it is better than a pick. I blame last week’s loss on the O-line.
actually, kordell wasn’t bad. he played in 2 pro bowls, and the only time he did is when he had the same off. coordinator from the season before, and started every game, and not getting benched. when he had the same system, he was consistant, overall, he was better then maddox, graham, or anyone else we had up to ben.
it seems to me when the steelers have a bad game running the ball we loose…
i am bye far no expert but it seems like we miss good big back like the BuS… i think Willie is not the answer he is good when there is a big enough hole for my fat ass to get through but thats about it…he doesn’t get those TOUGH yards

I think those two have a lot to do with each other. You are not a fan, so you obviously don’t follow the games, but for some reason you hate Roethlisberger even those you don’t really know whats going on.

I watch the games because me boyfriend is a fan and they are on every sunday. I hate Rothlisberger for personal reasons both relating to and not relating to Football.

the football aspect
i can say that big ben is not a dynamic game changing kind of player but you cant deny that he has some great “escapability” and he makes enough plays to put us in a position to win.
