Official 2010 Camaro Thread ***Prices***

That’s BS Dave. These cars are projected to weigh around 3800Lbs The LS series is essentially the same exterior dimensions as the SBC but is made almost entirely of aluminum. Weigh this bitch next to a early 90s LT1 and I bet it weighs 300-400 Lbs more. I remember reading that the LS4 in the W-bodies weighed less than the SCed 3800s it replaced. This car’s fat ass can’t be contributed to the engine. I also wonder, where does all this weight coming from?

This is damn sexy though. I really like that blue that Camaro Joe shopped on it. Kinda looks like the old LeMans Blue on the C6.

love the blue too, you’re right about the weight as well.

BREMBO’S BABY!!!

I am getting me one of these for sure. I loved it.
More detailed pics of the car tomorrow because I’m exhausted.

good old plant 5.I guess there are alot of cars over there but I didn’t want to go there and be depressed that I don’t have any really toys.

It was the 100th GM anniversary and 70th Tonawanda Engine Plant Anniversary.

I took 200+ pics. They had about one car from every year there. Best of the best. Tomorrow they are having a parade through Riverside Par at 9am if you want to see them. Then the GM plant car show is tomorrow too.

 ill take a black coupe w/ white stripes please

Yes, I sat in the car. Very comfy. Not bad in terms of blind spots. You can see the front and rear of the car.
Everything is in perfect view for the driver.

This car had RS trim, but had a V8 and 6 speed. Today they took it on the GM parade and I told him to give it some revs. Very quiet. Needs more loudness.

I AM getting one of these. Today just put me over the top on my decision.

V8 Powa!!!

I hate the wheels and the grill and the moonroof.
Other than that It dosent look bad at all.
Nice Pics +karma

That’s awesome Joe! Closest I’ve been has been at the Auto Show’s in Detroit and Toronto when the car was on a pedestal. How does the size feel? Big like the Challenger??? That’s been my beef lately with cars, even the '05+ Mustang feels large…

Based on looks alone, I would love to rock a new Camaro…and this is coming from someone who grow up Ford:wiggle:

I drove Nelnova’s Challenger and in comparison, I will say, the Challenger had a more luxury, my ass feels soooooo comfortable in this seat. But the Camaro was still very comfortable, but didn’t feel as big as the Challenger or Mustang. I can say I have been in all 3 cars, so it is a fair statement.

This is about the 20th time I have seen the 2010 Camaro, but the first time an actual production model, not a concept.

Moonroof is an option. I’m not getting it. Not a fan of it on the Camaro.
I’m sure the grill will have aftermarket options. Wait til I see what they offer at SEMA. I want a grill to look like the original 69 grill.

Wheels, that’s easy. Aftermarket

if you like Camaro’s you NEED to look at this

This thing has grown on me - a lot.

I think ive decided on my second car.

Gonna have to get black with silver stripes to match.

sick :headbang:

You can have a ride in mine

Will be nice to have something like this next to the 69

if this is what the Z28 will look like I’m going to faint…

Anyone else hope they do a blown 6.2L? I think the artist was going that route with the hood window similar to the ZR-1.

Hoods with windows

That looks hot other than that though…

that’s what I was thinking but a little bit of tint or paint will take care of that

Jinx from Camaro5.com was doing some renderings of what he thought the Z28 should look like. They said they aren’t going to make a Z28 (yet). For now it’s the SS. But people have already talked about doing 427 motor swaps on them as soon as they get them.
