Changing of the times…get used to it. As much of a fan of the old man mentality of a V8 musclecar, to me there is nothing wrong with a 300hp V6 in that new Camaro skin, especially when the msrp is low $20’s.
OK, I posted from my phone, so I didn’t get to put many details.
I was talking to a woman, who’s name escapes me, in the GM booth. I inquired to who I can talk to and complain about the lack of blue for the SS model. She was one of the heads of the Camaro product line and she guaranteed me that blue will be an option as soon as next week. A date she gave me was November 15th.
I also did ask her about the vert and she say the process isn’t going as fast as they would like, but they want to have it available 1 year after the coupe, but it may be longer (up to 2 years). She said the colors are still undecided, but they will most likely reflect the colors for the coupe.
And also the red LS7 Camaro was getting a ton of good hype. GM is taking the information back to meetings to discuss that option in future models.
The Penske and Earnhart will not be production models. They were made as one offs by companies for GM.
Oh, and Mark and SCAP were their with they Saturn Aura and mark took yet another award for his build. He was in the front row of the GM display.
