One Car Makes Women Feel Sexy 
More than any other, the sound of one car’s vroom-vroom makes women feel oh so sexy! And that car is a Maserati.
In a study conducted by British car insurer Hiscox, a stunning 100 percent of the women polled had a significant increase in testosterone secretion after hearing the roar of a Maserati’s engine. Testosterone is the hormone for both men and women that makes them feel sexy.
London’s Telegraph reports that study leader and psychologist David Moxon believed that loud noises, such as the revving of an engine, would have an arousing effect on an individual’s physiology. Turns out, he was right.
In this study, 40 men and women listened to recordings of the roaring engines of three luxury cars and one everyday vehicle: a Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Volkswagon Polo. Saliva samples were collected to measure testosterone secretion.
While the Maserati made 100 percent of the women feel sexy, it only had that effect on half the men. While there was no one car that had such a significant impact on the men, 60 percent showed a testosterone increase at the sound of a Lamborghini.
“We saw significant peaks, particularly in women,” Moxon told the Telegraph about the vroom-vroom of the Masarati. “The roar of a luxury car engine does cause a primeval physiological response.”
And what about the Volkswagon Polo? The sound of this average car engine actually led to a decreased level of testosterone!

Most women I’ve been around (17-23) say V8s sound like broken boats, turbo 4 bangers sound “annoying,” and any supercar is usually sexy.
also: maseratis ARE super awesome and there’s basically none around here

You want to talk about the sound of an engine boosting testosterone? I had just gotten to my inlaws on the river yesterday when some sort of poker run went ripping past the house. There were about 15 to 20 twin-V8 off-shore type speed boats all roaring towards the lake. Those things sound like pure sex by themselves. 15 of them together made the most spectacularly evil cacophony I have ever heard.
You should have heard the river in Arizona when everyone was pulling away from the sandbar at sunset. It could have been an extra verse to “jizzed in my pants”
