I’ve got a few bad scratches in the gray bumper insert that I’m going to take care of soon and started thinking about repainting it to match the car.

I’m really leaning toward having it painted to match the car, leaving that black mesh just the way it is like in the pictures above.
Opinions?

I actually prefer the contrast that the grey provides.
I think it looks a little cleaner painted, less Pontiac. Even though to paint bumper parts a different color is a current trend. :shrug:

i was just gonna suggest the coloring in of the GTO. it needs to have the GTO colored in for sure. I would actually do it in black though, not silver because nothing else on the car is silver since u have chrome rims.
Definately wouldn’t be doing the GTO lettering in a different color than the bumper. That’s way too close to putting your car name across your windshield.
The other thing I’ve seen that looks good is satin black.
The gray just looks wrong to me. Like they primed it then got lazy.

Grey easily looks the best IMO. Why not keeping it grey but a different shade or finish to make it look less like “primer”

Jay i say do this but make “GTO” a little lighter/darker color than the paint so its real subtle, not like putting your car’s name on your windshield… that is incredibly retarded.
