PJB is rommel.
The GTI badges and wheels should match the VW

Sexually? Or literally?
:cone:cone:ahh:cone:cone
I’m thinking of just taking the GTI badging off all together. That’s why I didn’t paint them yet. Didn’t want to waste my time…Decisions decisions :ohnoes
[quote=ChrisCaz;940733]Meany. edit Also, you live in Plattsburgh? Move out of Canada, then criticize. This is a German car. Which I know about bc I live in America ! ! ! Fvck YEAH!
I was going to ask if you were mentally challenged, but between this idiotic statement and how badly you trashed the paint on your car I think I have my answer.
Sarcasm either doesn’t travel North well, or it doesn’t work well set in type. Here’s a tip though, if you don’t like my car, don’t drive it. BANG! Problem solved kiddo.
flames=HP not paint
Gotcha. For anybody that’s interested (nobody, I assume) I took the yellow off the front emblem and painted it just white. I also took off all of the GTI badging and dremmel’ed the flat parts of the grill behind it.
Not bad. I have smoked tail lights. We should race some time. Would be a good run.
poor car… how the hell did that happen to the door?
Well, add some wintry mix that builds up on the inside of the door jam, sprinkle in some gotta-get-to-work-by-530AM, and a final dash of stubbornness. It was dark, the door wouldn’t open all the way and I figured it was snow (last winter) in the way, NOT ice in the door jam. Bent the hell out of it.
It’ll get fixed eventually, but I’m focusing on engine work right now, then I’ll worry about the door, the two scratches that were there when I bought it, and the chips of paint missing from the hood.
Haha. I bet I’d win since I removed the GTI badges…Weight reduction!
Installed a catch can today that I picked up from North American Motorsports. Two new pics of the car.
Looks good.
Thanks…First time I tackled something myself. Sorry Albany Speed. Haha.
