What I am saying is, its an investment on my part to do these side projects. The first paint job I did I buy the gal of materials and dont make as much on the job. Next job I dont have to buy the materials, and I make the money back. Just like everything else people do as side jobs. I dont charge dick for labor when I do these things for people, so i have to make it up with my resources. FYI I am only charging him $100 to do the job, and he is buying the basecoat of his choice. There is about 3 hours in cleaning, sanding, preping, priming, basecoat, clearcoating the fenders. Thats $33 an hr, MATERIALS INCLUDED. thats mexican labor cheap.
