Its a 3000 psi tank.
Let me know how much it is to fix.

No worries.
Edit: I went to Discover Diving (Transit) and the guy was really cool but he didn’t have the seals I needed.

What brand tank is it. I used to be certified in repairing Air America and Airgun Designs Style Regulators.
PURE ENERGY?
Screw in?
Most PE regs are sealed and not supposed to be servicable.
How bad is the leak and where is it leaking from.
u can just take a compressed air tank to a scuba shop. When was the last time it was inspected? If its out of date they may not fill it unless the tank passes inspection.
There are differing exemption codes on the tanks. The newest 4500 psi tanks need to be hydrotested every 5 years. Most 3k tanks need to be hydrotested every 3 years.
I can check the exemption codes for you. It starts with a DOT-E…
Anyone that is posting or viewing this thread should be playing in our little tournament / get-together on April 29
It is leaking in many places.
I had to get it inspected after I bought it in Sept, 2006 to get it filled.
Well I finally had time to make the trek up to Sports Replay.
I called first and asked if he had seal kits/o-rings for air tanks and he said yes.
After making the trek from Springville I realized he thought I just wanted the external o-ring.
He gave me the phone number for PURE ENERGY and told me they might send me free seals.
I will call today and hopefully get what I need.
Edit: Side note… On my way to Replay it was raining like a mutha on 290 and there was a black Mustang facing East in the west bound lane. You silly two wheel drivers are funny. The Hakkas were great in the heavy rain too.:biglaugh:
