Polished B18 Valve cover... BLING.

Here is the valve cover all done for the B18 Mini Cooper project a member is doing. It came out rather well I would say. Center will be black wrinkle coated and not sure what he wants to do about the back ground on the Honda emblem… it’s next to impossible to polish in there. I am thinking gloss black or color matching something under his engine bay would look nice.

Total time about 5 hours.

Looks good man.

awesome! I can’t wait to bolt this up on my car.

Ive done this before with identical results.

It took me 3x the amount of time though :lol nice work man

thanks friend!

Its all about having the right tools and skills. Greasless compound it one of the coolest things I ever used. Its crazy to think that a big tube of rubber stuff can be applied to a cotton wheel and take off A SHIT TON of metal! that cuts down on a ton of time.

the only stuff I hand sanded was some of the tight places that I couldnt get a felt bob and my air diegrinder into.

Hey man how much do you want to do and intake manifold and a valve cover for an ABA???

PM coming your way…
