I still can’t believe the Sky is a Saturn.

Cool, I must have forgotten about those. I knew that they were killing them (which sucks) but I’m there will still be some decent ones around to pick up somewhat cheap used in a couple years. GM has GREAT resale. lol
Because the change to a coupe body style resulted in only a slight increase in curb weight
How does making a car a coupe add weight? I thought making a car a convertible always added weight, not the reverse? Maybe the hard top removable panel kept the weight higher.
Well if it’s a removable top, than the structure of the car can’t really change so you would just be adding the difference of the soft top/hard top to the car.
The fuel tank setups are different on the two cars. Because of them taking out the moving parts for the top and what not they were able to move stuff around to increase trunk space…ever so slightly. When i saw the unveiling in Delaware they talked about all the changes.
I really do like the sky…Been meaning to take a turbo sky for a spin to check it out
id def drive a sky, there awesome looking cars and pretty quick. although id have to remove all of the saturn badges just so i didnt think i was driving a saturn
Ya I know what you mean. Anytime I see them I think they are really slick lookin but then the huge saturn badge is like Oh man.

I liked the solstice since I started watching that weekly show on speed channel, i can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head but they seemed like a really good track car
As soon as I seen the sky,I knew wifey was going to have one(gave me an excuse to drive it)I personally don’t like the solstice at all.Something about that front end.Awesome cars though and for a loaded sky turbo out the door is under 30K and for an extra $1k you can get upto around 300whp with it and still get 30mpg all day long.

Looks better but that front end still ruins the entire car. Pontiac really needs to ditch that lame grill design.

They had it up at SEMA. I liked it. But being 6’ tall know for a fact, I won’t be comfortable in it.
Actually, I’m 6’4", and I felt just fine in it. Which surprised me. Getting in/out wasn’t horrible, but if I’m buying a car like that, I wouldn’t give a shit.
6’2" here and no probs.Wouldn’t really want to drive it to florida but fine other then that.
