what happened to the STi

you bought jon’s car?

:rofl never bought it lol was a joke by brett and i to get pete goin

yes i did , and its for sale again lol

ahahahaha wow. that was a while ago.

paws, your camEro looks its best on the welds. i never want to see it off the drag wheels!

thought the much

I’ve had 5 different sets of wheels on the truck before these. I didn’t have to come up with a dime for them, i was in the middle of painting a moostang for a guy and he ran out of money but had a credit card, so I worked a deal with him for the wheels for the rest of the paint work on the car, luckily all the materials were already bought, my labor was the cost of the wheels!, I already had a set of 20’s so i used the rear tires from them for the front CCWs and bought a set of 20" Nitto drag radials for the rear.:ponder

I approve this car  Just needs 3.3Liters of na fury instead of 2.5L of kaboom.

I agree. I wish I could do it for cheap, seems so expensive.

take your own pictures you cripple bastard! im sick of seeing my front lawn everywhere :lol

Not that bad if you do most of the mech work yourself. Biggest purchase is just buying an svx to pull the guts from. I’ve bought many from 6-800, running, but blown gearboxes. If you MS it, then you just need a complete motor. you can partout an SVX and make back 4-600 prety easy on SVX forums.

Other than that and an aluminum rad, exhaust work, misc hoses, etc, it’s mostly drop in. It’s expensive when you do what I did. Your car you need to ditch the AC and put the alt where the compressor sits to clear the hood( see Laverty’s car on EFI logics site) WRX had more hood clearance and wasn’t necessary.

You could probably sell the EJ25 and cover 80% of the costs IF you do all the heavy labor yourself(gutting SVX, installing motor, etc, etc) Hardest part is just weeding down the SVX harness, but I’ve got that to a science after doing a dozen or so.

I’m going to do another in the future, but with a 3.0R motor destroked. My old one was by far the most fun car I’ve ever built for myself. Still cutting my ballsack for selling it, especially since i see it nearly every week

secretssecretssecretssecretssecretssecrets

seriously though you should cut the block in half and make it a flat six so you can put a normal hood on it.

there will be a normal hood on it.
