Yeah. Our foundation is huge.

We built that garage ourselves (my two older brothers and my dad). Steel beams, welded, crazy thick foundation and supports. The whole 9 yards.

For the lift, there are actually steel plates right under the cement that the lift bolts onto. They are probably 3" or 4" inches inside the cement.

My friend didnt have plates in the floor. The garage is over 40 years old and definately didnt have plates. Its bolted to the floor.
I worked there and watched it get installed.
