a broken collar bone, regardless of time to heal will not get you discharged. it may get your orders changed to a different classification, from a rigorous duty, to a desk job, but especially that she is 18, that means she wasnt long out of bootcamp, and 13weeks of training plus the MCT after that. and whatever school she was scheduled to attend after basic and mct, thats alot of money for the Marine Corps to lose in training over a collar bone.
