are yours mostly from one pic? i just got back from camping, i have a bunch i can try it out on
most of mine are 3-5 pictures. If you only use one, it limits the range of colors(light and dark). I always shoot in RAW .nef format and use those. Photomatix is pretty good at figuring out the curve by itself.

Been on vacation all week in the Outer Banks… heres a few random shots:
Couple shots from the Steve Aoki show last night. This first one just happened to be taken right when a strobe or something was going off and i think it turned out pretty cool (especially considering it’s a cell phone shot)
then just a normal shot with the pride of buffalo (aka alcoholic) waving his arms around in a drunken mess in the background:
