You have no idea how badass he is. We were on the opposite side watching him stare down this group of about 5 women when suddenly he charged the glass, jumped up and slammed his whole body into the glass at face level. Everyone screamed, one girl fell on her ass, and there was this moment where I debated picking up my kid and making a run for it.
After it calmed down I went over to his side and took the pics. Shooting through glass sucks, but I’m real glad it’s there and obviously very strong.

I don’t know if its the same one (from like 9 years ago)… But I’m familiar with its hand print. Apparently he doesn’t like it when you make out with zoo volunteer staff in the window of its cage. She worked with the zoo the summer before that. Scared the shit out of me. All I heard was thud thud… thud thud… thud thud. thud thud thud thud BAM I looked over just in time to see a hand bigger then my face hit the glass, I flew back like 5 feet. That girl was crazy fun though. Too bad I was only her home town entertainment.

Got bored so I decided to give the 8-second shutter speed a few tries. I kind of enjoy this one. Obviously a copy of the Micah lighter idea… i just thought it was really cool idea.

yeah, i’m wearing sunglasses. lol… after the 8th or 9th attempt i was getting serious vision halos from all that lighter flashing.
